Wellesley College track & field first year Abena Asare (Berlin, N.J.) has been named Corvias ECAC Women s Outdoor Track & Field Division III New England Rookie of the Week, for the week ending April 26, 2015.

Led by a trio of First Team All-Conference performers, Wellesley College track & field scored a school record 95 points to take fourth place at the 2015 New England Women's and Men's Athletic Conference Championships at MIT's Henry G. Steinbrenner Track.

Three members of the Wellesley College track & field team were in action on Friday evening in the 5000 meter run at the Larry Ellis Invitational, hosted by Princeton University.

Wellesley College sophomore Isabella Narvaez won the 400 meter dash with a school record time of 57.38 on Saturday afternoon at the Aloha Relays, hosted by Bowdoin College. Narvarez s time breaks the previous mark of 58.47 set by Leah Clement in 2011.

Wellesley College track & field senior Taylor Bickford (Limington, Maine) has been named the New England Women's and Men's Athletic Conference (NEWMAC0 Women's Track Athlete of the Week for the period ending April 12th, 2015.

Wellesley College track & field grabbed several top times as it continued its spring season this weekend, competing on Friday and Saturday at the annual Silfen Invitational, hosted by Connecticut College.
