The Wellesley College cross country team finished seventh in a field of 24 teams at the 2014 Williams Purple Valley Classic on Saturday. The 6k event was held at Mount Greylock High School in Williamstown.
The Wellesley College cross country team won its home invitational in style, recording the top-11 finishes as the Blue topped Simmons in the Saturday meet. The event was held on the Blue s 5k lake course.
The Wellesley College cross country team placed all five scoring runners in the top-30 as the Blue raced to a third place finish at the 2014 Smith Invitational. The event kicked off the season for the Blue.

Wellesley first-year Mary Keenan won an ECAC title, leading the Blue track and field team at the 2014 ECAC Outdoor Championships on Thursday and Friday. The event was hosted by RPI in Troy, New York.
